ProudBlack – Free Wordpress Theme
Today I’m glad to release my first free Wordpress Theme . Proudblack , a simple , 2-column design theme , is best suited for personal blogs .

I like it a lot. Really clean and seems easy to edit design wise. The only thing that stuck out to me was the categories in the post area under the post title. They seem to dominate more than they should IMO.

Hey, I have a problem with the footer. It displays this error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function lifestream() in /home2/centroh1/public_html/patrimoniomultimedia/website/wp-content/themes/proudblack/footer.php on line 25
What could it be?

Nice theme. I have a problem with the menu. It doesn’t work with sublevels, it show the sublevels on the side. You can check out my site if you don’t understand what I’m meaning.

The theme doesn’t support submenus yet . I will include this feature in the next version of the theme .
Is it not a dropdown menu?
Dropdown menus ( jQuery enchanted ) will be supported in the next version . This will be available sometime next week .

how can i insert a custom logo in the header? and i got one problem… the search image (applesearch) isnt show in the header. Thakns! Wonderfull theme!

Edit header.php and replace everything from the logo div with your image .
I have no idea why the applesearch images are not showing. Try to see if the image paths in applesearch.js are right.
Great theme. Possible to add a postcount after each row in the Archivespage?

Edit archives.php , search for wp_get_archives(‘type=monthly’) and replace it with wp_get_archives(‘type=monthly&show_post_count=1′)
That should do the trick.

Beautiful design Iacob – thanks so much! I’m also having problems with the applesearch display in the header – it appears as a plain box instead of pulling the applesearch images. Was it ever resolved for Fernando?
Check applesearch.js and applesearch.css and see if the paths to the images are correct . It might be a good idea to use absolute paths for those files.

You can do whatever you want with it (take it apart , modify it etc). If you know some basic CSS then you can change the theme’s colors .

It’s possible to include Adsense code above the loop(you’ll need a bit of PHP knowledge) . I’m working on a new version of this theme and it will probably incude the Adsense option in the theme’s options panel.

Hi, i have a website and y use this template, this is the first template who i download in your site, but, how can i change the title of the blog to an image? can you make a new version and include options to change the logo? Please response , i speak spanish and i cant speak english very well, sory.
Hey Mashe . I’m working on the new version and yes, it will have the option to use an image or just plain text. Unfortunately , I’m really busy with client work right now and I can’t say when it will be ready.
If you know some CSS you can add an image inside the “logo” div in header.php.
