I always like a good contest!
What does Christmas mean to me? That’s an easy one. Christmas means white snow, cold air and seeing my daughter bury herself in snow so soft that you’re reminded of the down pillow that was destroyed in the last pillow fight.
It means seeing my breath the morning of Christmas as I clear my driveway in preparation for visiting family members with that first breath stinging my nostrils when I walk out into the crisp air. It means I get to sleep in the next morning and dream of doing it all again next year.
Christmas doesn’t have a religious connection for me, it has a family connection that I can’t live without.

Christmas to me means that there is plenty of snow on the ground, -30 C up here in Canada, and we get to fill our empty stomachs on turkey and stuffying :p yum yum.

Christmas is a time to tell those we love that we love them all to often we get caught up in the day to day hustle and forget.
I would love to win the css gallery theme.
Christmas for me means family coming together, and spending quality time together. The gifts are a plus but first of all the christmas spirit means a lot to me
Christmas means a waking up and seeing my son’s face light up with joy. That is what Christmas is all about. Seeing the joy in a child’s eyes. It is a time of magic of sorts. It’s a day that families come together and spend time together as well.
CHRISTMAS means to me…
Enjoying spending time with my children and especially with daughter being off for 2 weeks of school. Baking cookies, decorating the tree, opening cards & presents, preparing for the big day or morning Santa comes. Though hectic, it’s all worth it that morning!
Of course being grateful for Christ, whom the true meaning of Christmas is really all about and why we are all here in the first place!
Food, Snacks, Gifts, A bit of Relaxation, & Wondering where did the past year go?? And start making better plans and decisions for the New Year. And shed them few (or more) pounds gained.

Happy Holidays Everyone!
Christmas for me has changed over the last couple of years. When my step mom was alive, we always went to her families for Christmas dinner or had a nice big dinner at our house where everyone would come over. But since her passing, that has all stopped. This year, I don’t have anywhere to go. Some friends invited me to their house so I will do that on Christmas day.
I think Christmas for me today makes me think about this year. About what I have done, And what I will do for the new year. Recently I was thinking that people give presents to everyone except who the holliday was meant for. Jesus. I think this year I will find a way to give him a present instead of thinking only about what I want. I think mostly. I look forward to the time when I will have a family of my own to start some traditions. To be able to have a place that I can invite my dad and other relatives over. To take over where my step mom had to leave off.

Christmas is for me the nice cosy feeling when you sit back relaxing on the cauch staring at the xmas tree lights while listening to carols and planing the wishes for the next year
For me, the meaning of Christmas seems to change a little each year. Life throughout the rest of the year adds some additional joy or sadness. Collectively these life events combine to make each year unique. However a few things remain constant. My love for family and friends, the joy of giving, and beloved traditions are always part of the season.

Christmas is time for loving to one another either you hate them or not and sharing on to someone even what you have isn’t it great compared to others as long as you give it from the inner part of your heart.

I realize that your contest is over, but I wanted to add to this. Prior to this past Christmas of 2008, Christmas has only been about presents. Wondering what my parents were going to buy me that year. It was full of selfishness. This year is completely different. This year, I have a son. This year, Christmas took on a completely different meaning. For me, it was about spending time with my family. It was about seeing the joy on my son’s face. It was about being able to be lazy with my family. It was full of love and laughter.
I am glad that all future Christmas seasons will be exactly the same as this year.
